Michael has a broad corporate background initially with GKN he was responsible for the sales, marketing and business development across the automotive sector in the USA where he lived for five years. Since then he became business development director with Turriff plc in the oil and gas sector in many parts of the world. He moved to the leisure sector with Bass plc where he held the position of Operations Director for Horizon Holidays. Subsequently he was appointed CEO of Tourism International, the leisure division of BET plc, whose activities included hotels and lodges, travel agencies, car hire, boat and aircraft operations and a range of destination management services throughout Africa and the South Pacific Regions. The company’s broad range of soft adventure activities provided both wholesale and retail products to the worlds travel market. Following an acquisition he moved to Dubai where he became Senior V.P Business Development for the Dolphin Group, an Asian owned multinational operating in the leisure, banking, media, trading and automotive sectors.

Since returning to the UK he has worked with several SME’s as well as developing his own business interests. He has lived in five different countries and has worked and traveled in many more engaging with a broad range of businesses and cultures.
