The joint seminar and investment event offers an introduction to convertible debt and the chance to meet three businesses seeking investment, whether by convertible debt or equity. Canapés will be served courtesy of Keystone Law and wines and refreshments courtesy of Brown Shipley.

Convertible debt is now a well used and understood investment structure in the US and is being increasingly adopted by English investors in appropriate situations. In response to strong investor demand, a portion of the meeting will be set aside for a presentation from Keystone Law on how and when to use convertible debt and to answer investors’ questions on this subject.

The second section of the meeting will be for investors to hear the presentations from three high growth companies, ask them questions and meet the boards. Formal proceedings will close with a presentation from Brown Shipley on how they lend money up to a maximum of 65% of a portfolio managed by themselves, potentially to fund future investments, thus increasing overall return on investor capital. The final part of the evening will feature wine, canapés and lively conversation amongst the advisers, investors and presenting companies.
