EXCELLENT RESPONSE TO LONDON INVESTMENT FAIR
We've had some extremely positive feedback regarding last week's London Investment Fair at Mark Masons' Hall from both the presenting companies and the investors who attended throughout the day. Two of the exhibiting companies had the following to say:
- "We have met many investors, there is a great atmosphere and real excitement"
- "I wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s definitely been worthwhile – lots of positive meetings"
The investors also gave us some encouraging feeback:
- "This is my first Fair, and I will certainly come again, the quality of the companies is excellent"
- "It’s a great way to meet a good mix of companies in a short space of time"
- "Best yet!"
- "A great event as always, I look forward to the next one"
We have more information further down this column regarding our next fair in June.
BEER RAISE ADDITIONAL £50,000 FOR REVOLUTIONARY FOLDABLE BOAT WITH BUILT-IN RETRACTABLE TRAILER
- A success for the Beer Investment Fair that took place in November 2010.
This client, who has the rights to a fold-up boat with a built-in trailer, was funded by a single investor within one month. A follow on investment of £50,000 was made a year later after exhibiting at the November fair.
Dwight Makins is the assigned associate for this company. Dwight also showcased a further five companies at the Investment Fair held last week on the 10th March, which included two existing and three new clients...
"All my clients had meetings with serious, potential investors and therefore it was a productive day."
Dwight is the star of this issue's 'Associate Spotlight' which is located further down this column.
